Medical devices
Eleven products, three systems: prostheses, orthoses and one implant.
A device has no standard dose, so each product is defined in words, classified by the European nomenclature EMDN [1], then matched to the codes of each system. The figures are reimbursement tariffs: the French list of products and services [2], the Medicare DMEPOS fee schedule, which varies by state [3], and the Australian Prescribed List [4]. When a system does not cover a product, the table says so rather than force a match.
Australia does not list external devices, like prosthetic limbs, on the Prescribed List [5]: only the bone-anchored implant appears there. Amounts are converted at the ECB rate of 9 October 2026 [6].
